Manor Cottages - Escape to the Cotswolds

Rigside Farmhouse is spacious holiday cottage set on the edge of the Cotswolds village of Little Compton. The house has been developed specifically for large groups with accommodation up to 16 available. The house is surrounded by fields and paddocks and, in our opinion, is simply ideal for large gatherings of friends and/or families. Externally the house sits in an acre size plot on the edge of the village (see below) and is well located for the popular market towns of Chipping Norton, Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold.  Similarly near by are a host of beautiful Cotswold villages. Internally the house has large rooms which lend themselves perfectly to entertaining,  including a spacious living room with conservatory and a good size traditional kitchen.

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance through to lobby area with access to the main ground floor rooms
Kitchen/Dining Room fully fitted with range cooker and ovens, dishwasher, microwave and large ridge freezer, Dining Area with two tables each seating eight - a maximum of 16.
Utility Room with washing machine and tumble drier and washbasin.
Bedroom with single bed*.
There are two Cloakrooms on the ground floor each with WC and washbasin. 
Living Room an enormous room with three large sofas and two armchairs, open fire and flatscreen TV with DVD player and Freeview. This room leads into a conservatory with additional seating. French doors to garden beyond. 
Bedroom One with two single beds plus Ensuite Shower Room, WC and washbasin 
Bedroom Two with four single beds plus a sofa-bed*, TV, DVD player and Freeview

First Floor
Bedroom Four with double (or two singles) plus additional single bed*
Family Bathroom with bath and shower cubicle, WC and washbasin. 
Bedroom Five with two single beds (can be made into double) with Ensuite Shower Room. 
Bedroom Six with two single beds.
Family Bathroom with bath/overhead shower.  
Bedroom Seven with bunk bed (adult size).

Outside
Gardens of an acre with table and chairs plus BBQ, a playhouse for children, a giant trampoline and Jenga.

Heating & Electricity included all year. Ample off street parking. Cot & High Chair available.

*Extra beds charged at £40 per bed.

There is a refundable damages deposit of £300 required for each booking.

Plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes and shops to visit in nearby Moreton-in-Marsh (approx. 3 1/2 miles) or Chipping Norton (approx. 5 1/2 miles).  Trains to London/Oxford/Hereford/Worcester/ from Moreton-in-Marsh station and buses to Banbury, Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon from Chipping Norton.
