The Piggery is a stunning cottage situated in a simply divine location at the foot of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Set in the middle of a large meadow, in the depths of the countryside above the River Severn, The Piggery enjoys complete peace and quiet with some simply stunning views across some classic countryside. The cottage has been beautifully restored and enjoys all the modern comforts and conveniences whilst retaining all the character of the original building. The accommodation is all on one level and all rooms have stunning views.
Village shop has now re-opened (hoorah!) and pub in nearby village - just a stroll away! We particularly like this property and it's location and fabulous views

Local Information
Woolaston is a small and rural area consisting of gently sloping farmland located on the northern banks of the River Severn, towards the western side of Gloucestershire. Specifically it on the cusp of the very attractive areas of the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. The cottage is very convenient for touring the region and even Wales is a short drive away!
As one would expect the location enjoys quite easy access to a number of attraction within the Forest-of-Dean and Wye Valley however popular spots such as Symonds Yat, Ross-on-Wye, Tintern Abbey, Ledbury are all nearby. You can even canoe or fish on the River Wye if you wish! As you would expect there are country walks from your doorstep. Local Inn serving good food 1 mile.
