Orchard Cottage is an absolutely delightful holiday cottage set in the tranquil, village surroundings of South Cerney. Originally built in 1850 this old coach house has been converted to provide high quality accommodation in the grounds of the owners stunning home. Located just yards from the centre of the village, yet tucked away in a quiet corner, this cottage is a short stroll from the village pub (The Oak is recommended) and also the village's tennis courts. Internally, the accommodation is light and airy, beautifully furnished and decorated and very well equipped. The cottage is also a short drive away from The Cotswold Water Park with its many activites.

In addition to being within easy reach of many picturesque Cotswold villages and the splendour of Roman towns like Cirencester and Bath, South Cerney is an ancient village very convenient for the Cotswold Water Park. This area is a great holiday destination because of the tremendous variety of activities on offer. Today the Cotswold Water Park is Britain's largest water park, 50% larger than the Norfolk Broads, extending to over 40 square miles and includes: 133 lakes, 5 nature reserves, pountry parks with picnic and barbecue sites, a Blue Flag bathing beach, an extensive network of footpaths, cycle ways and bridleways as well as extensive leisure and sporting activities. Many Cotswold attractions and villages are all within easy access.

South Cerney, located 3 miles south of the bustling market town of Cirencester, is an attractive village with a variety of good local amenities, including Post Office, newsagents, general store, farm shop, hairdresser, Indian restaurant/takeaway, fish and chip shop and a pharmacy! There are 3 public houses in the village as well as an 18 hole golf course with clubhouse restaurant open to the public.
Specifically, it is situated in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park with its varied outdoor activities including fishing, sailing and cycling to name a few. For those wishing to explore, a wealth of beautiful Cotswold villages including Burford, Stow on the Wold, Bibury, Tetbury, Bourton on the Water as well as the attractions of Oxford, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham are all within easy reach.
