Perched near the top of a large hill it offers complete peace and quiet and is a lovely location for a Wye Valley retreat. Walks into the surrounding fields start from your doorstep and, in addition to a private patio, is a large shared garden with many a nook and cranny in which to relax and enjoy the view. Inside the accommodation is spacious and airy, comfortably furnished and welcoming. This delightful and relatively inexpensive holiday cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a rural setting simply ideal for relaxing and recharging

Location
Walford is delightful location which lies 2 miles to the south of the Herefordshire market town of Ross-on-Wye. Set in open and rolling countryside it is a classic English village with black and white buildings and other period houses. It is name is thought to derive from the name 'Wales-ford' where the old turnpike road to Wales crossed the River Wye.
Partly located in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and adjoining the Royal Forest of Dean, the settlements of Bishopswood, Walford, Hom Green, Coughton and Deep Dean comprise to form Walford Parish which is scenically framed by the River Wye to the west and the slopes of Chase Wood, Penyard Park, Howle, Leys and Bulls Hills to the east.
