There a a number of gorgeous Cotswolds buildings within the village, none more so than Ewen Manor, a private residence with beautiful gardens that are very occasionally opens to the public. Leafy lanes, tree lined roads and thatched country cottages form the character of this delightful hamlet through which an infant river Thames courses on its way through the lovely Cotswolds
The village enjoys one of the Cotswolds' finest pubs The Wild Duck Inn which has a long history dating from the 16th-century. The colourwashed walls are hung with attractive pictures and the furniture has a distinct country charm. In the quiet countryside surrounding this quintessentially English hamlet, peaceful watermeadows are grazed by sheep and cattle and there is a variety of wildlife to be spotted along the reedy banks of the Thames.
