The cottage is perched on a hillside looking towards a wooded valley and two lakes and gives a view that you are unlikely to ever forget. ACCOMMODATION (all on one level)
Entrance through to hallway
Kitchen, fully equipped with halogen hob, electric grill and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave plus dining table and four chairs.
Dining Room with table and four chairs, plus Welsh dresser.
Living Room with large sofa, two armchairs, woodburning stove, large TV with Freeview, DVD player and CD player with docking station.
Bedroom One, large room, 5ft double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, Ensuite Shower Room with WC and washbasin
Bedroom Two, large again, with two 3ft single beds (zip & link to a double if required), wardrobe with shelving plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, handheld shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside
The cottage enjoys uninterrupted views from its location. There is a 'crow's nest' deck area which is built into the hillside with table and chairs. There are many walks to choose from direct from the front door.
Sorry No Pets. No Children under 12 please. Off street parking (under cover) for at least two cars. Mobile phone reception is 'OK'. Oil fired heating throughout.
Local Information
Lakeside Cottage offers guests the unique opportunity during your stay to become part of the EXCLUSIVE Brook Farm fly fishing syndicate. The cottage overlooks two spring-fed lakes, where there are Brown as well as Rainbow Trout. The fly fishing is exclusively nymph or dry-fly and is predominantly Catch and Release (so not ideal for novices). Cost is £180 per week per rod. Cranham is a small Cotswold village located approx 2 miles from the stunning village/town of Painswick (on the 'Cotswold Way') where you will find a selection of pubs and shops to enjoy. Cranham has a small pub, but there are many other excellent pubs nearby. Alternatively you may wish to consider many other local places of interest including the Rococo Gardens, Cheltenham Spa town, or the plethora of local villages found in this stunning region of the Cotswolds.
