Local Information
Sutton under Brailes is a delightful village set on the edge of Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. It is surrounded by some stunning, open countryside with beautiful walks in all directions. The village has a long history dating back hundreds of years. Although there is no pub in the village there are a number of excellent options within 10 minutes drive. The village has a golf course (there are a number in the area) with all facilities including restaurant available to non members while a local shop and bakery can be found in the next village of Lower Brailes, about a mile away.
The popular and attractive locations of Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle are a short drive away, while Oxford is no more than 30 mins drive. Many of the Cotswolds popular locations such as Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Burford are all nearby along with many of the region's popular attactions and National Trust Gardens.
