Manor Cottages - Escape to the Cotswolds

The Haven is a super single storey holiday cottage which has undergone renovation to create a welcoming property suitable for families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break. Originally part of a 14th Century farm, the cottage, which is semi detached, is light and spacious with far reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. Set within the conservation village of Shipton under Wychwood, there are great walks and country pubs, such as The Lamb close by. The property retains original beams and stone walls, and now has beech floors throughout along with mod cons such as a power shower, dishwasher and Sky TV. The views of the Cotswold Hills offer fantastic sunsets which can be enjoyed either privately within your own garden space or anywhere within the 11 acres of grounds.

ACCOMMODATION - all on one level (except for three steps)

Entrance into Kitchen / Dining / Living room, with dining table for 6 people, including dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, gas hob with oven and microwave.
Passage to Bathroom, with large bath, excellent power shower in bath, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom One with twin beds, which can be linked together to make large King Size bed, enjoying views to garden.
Bedroom Two, approached via steps, with two single beds, (twin or double bed), views across farm. (Image shows just one of the beds!)
Bedroom Three with twin beds which can be linked together to make a King sized double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bathroom Two with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin
Living Room with sofas and chairs, TV with Sky and DVD player. (Please note that there is an additional kitchen facility in this room!)

Garden with BBQ and trampoline. 

Heating and electricity included all year. Off-street parking. Cot and high chair available. Sofa bed charged at £40 per week. Please note that access to the kitchen/diner from the living room area is either through Bedroom Two or via the courtyard, just a few steps!

Children welcome (giant Trampoline available!). Sorry no Pets.  Friday changeover please. Non-smoking property.

Shipton-under-Wychwood is conveniently located midway between Burford and Chipping Norton, accessible by train straight from Paddington - as a request stop! Close by is the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Bourton on the Water with Model Village and many other attractions and the popular Cotswold towns of Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Golf, fishing and riding are all within 5 miles of the cottage.
