The Dower House is a traditional self catering cottage situated in a truly idyllic location in the heart of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Located in the grounds of the owner's home and with access to a large garden and tennis court, this cottage enjoys peaceful surroundings, with views of rolling hills and woodland - classic Cotswolds countryside! Inside the cottage are many period features including beams and an open fire in the sitting room all of which enhance the character of the property. There are three bedrooms, with the two upstairs particularly spacious and with attractive views. The downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom. This is a very comfortable and homely holiday cottage with lovely surroundings.

Living room with sofa and two armchairs with TV with DVD player and view towards garden.
Kitchen with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave.
Dining Area, set within the corner of the living room within an alcove, has a table and space for up to five chairs
Single Bedroom with Bathroom One adjacent with bath, separate walk in shower, WC and wasbasin.
Upstairs:
Master Bedroom very large bedroom with king size bed, wardbobe and chest of drawers - fabulous views.
Bedroom Three with two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers plus great views again!
Bathroom Two with bath with hand held shower, WC and wash basin.
Outside
The rear of the property is a small patio are with table and chairs, which overlooks the main garden which is for the owners use. Beyond and behind a period stone wall is an 'upper garden' which is for the customers' sole use. The tennis court is located here. Please note that the tennis court may require sweeping as it there is a huge, magnificent tree nearby!
Central heating and electricity included all year. Use of owner's tennis court by arrangement. Parking for 3 cars. Extra child can be accommodated on fold out bed, £40 per stay. Cot & High Chair available.
One small pet, please check. Any day changeover, except for Summer Holidays when Saturday is requested.
Location
The Dower House is in a very peaceful setting on the edge of the village and is walking distance from an excellent shop, pub and Arts Centre. Its downstairs bedroom and bathroom make it suitable for those with those with limited mobility. Close by are Woodchester Roman Villa, Badminton Horse Trials, Westonbirt Arboretum and Minchinhampton Common. The ever popular towns of Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Tetbury and Cirencester (The Roman Capital of the Cotswolds) are all within easy driving distance.
