Dairy Cottage is an attractive holiday cottage situated in the stunning Cotswolds village of Minster Lovell. The cottage is attached the owner's home and sits within 3 acres of gardens which roll down towards the River Windrush. Internally the cottage is a spacious and charming holiday home with many character features including old timbers and exposed walls and attractive furnishings. The cottage enjoys it's own private and enclosed garden with access to the owners' gardens as well access to an indoor swimming pool and tennis court* and fishing on the river. Locally is the beautiful village which has a small hotel / pub and some tremendous walks into the countryside. The cottage is a superb location for touring the Cotswolds or simply enjoying a relaxing break doing nothing!

Entrance through to lobby, through to living room which is open to the dining room, but still providing privacy!
Living Room with two large sofas, open fireplace, TV, DVD player and radio/CD player.
Dining Room with table and six chairs
Kitchen, well equipped, with electric hob and oven, microwave, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher. In the utility room there is a washing machine. There is also a door to the enclosed garden.
Cloakroom/Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin

Master Bedroom, a large room with a view towards the gardens, with double bed, wardrobe including shelving space and TV
Bedroom Two with single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers

Outside
The property is surrounded by gardens. To the front there is a small patio area with table and chairs. To the rear is an enclosed grassed garden area which is a good size with garden table and chairs and BBQ. Beyond both the front and rear garden areas are additional gardens which include a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool. *Although there is no 'restriction' on the use of these, the owners request that you make contact each time you wish to play! The larger gardens extend down to the River Windrush with lovely views across the village cricket pitch.
Saturday Changeover in School Holidays preferred, Any Day otherwise. Cot and High Chair available. Extra bed available £40 per week or per stay. Owner requires a £100 damages deposit. There is a nominal contribution/charge for electricity.
Oil fired Central Heating included. Starter pack of logs available. Off street parking. Sorry No Pets (please note owner has her own dog). NB Swimming pool is available for use from Easter to end of September. Use at Xmas & New Year is charged at an extra £250 per week

Location
Old Minster Lovell is a quiet village set within and overlooking the River Windrush valley. The river itself winds through the edge of the village, which is most notable for its historic ruins The Minster Lovell Hall which sits on the edge of the river. The village has a fabulous pub, with one more further up the hill in the 'new' part of Minster. The look of the old village is typically Cotswolds with many rows of stone buildings and Cotswold cottages along with some thatched houses. In spring and summer the look and feel is beautifully English! The market town of Witney, with many shops and supermarkets etc, is about 2 miles away with Oxford, Burford, Stow on the Wold and Woodstock with Blenheim Palace all within a short and easy driving distance.
