Property Information

Cobweb Cottage is classic cottage briming with character features situated in the heart of the beautiful market town of Ledbury. Tucked down a quiet alley and hidden from the main street, this delightful cottage is a real gem, perfect for a romantic break or as a base for touring the local area. The accommodation inside is presented in delightful style (the owner has a home furnishing shop on the High Street!) and provides comfortable space and facilities for four people. The cottage also has the benefit of a small garden which is perfect for those sun downers. Please note that the cottage's name does not refer to any unusual volume of 'creepy-guests'!!

Just 30 minutes to Cheltenham Races.

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance into Kitchen/Dining room with period slate flooring. A good sized room with table and chairs for four people, plus a comfortable sofa.
Kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and oven (electric grill), microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
Living Room with wood-burning stove, large sofa, easy chair and period furniture. Overlooking garden.

Upstairs

Bedroom One with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bedroom Two with two large, single beds and chest of drawers.
Bathroom with period roll top bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin.

Outside
Small, enclosed garden with table and chairs. We are informed that there are two visiting hamsters who appear periodically!

C.Heating and electricity included all year. Secure, off street parking within 3 mins walk. Any day Changeovers except Summer months please (or last minute!). Cot, travel cot and highchair available.

Ledbury is one of the finest 'Black and White towns in the country. Situated on a crossroads, the town has evolved today to be a wonderful location to either visit or tour from. It has real beauty and charm. It is convenient for touring up to Malvern, across the border to Wales or alternatively into the ever popular Cotswolds. It is approximately 2.5 hours from London

 

Local Information

Ledbury is a market town with a timeless, unhurried quality about it. Rich in history it existed as an early Saxon settlement before being described as Liedeberge (Leadon Hill) in the Domesday Book. There are many examples of beautiful achitecture throughout the town, many housing some of the super shops that are available in the town. Today Ledbury has a strong link with the poetry wolrd with a number of event occuring through the year.

Ledbury is located on the edge of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire with the Cotswolds in one direction and The Malvern Hills in another. There are countless 'black and white' villages across the region as well as many beautiful woodlands , many accessible via some stunning countryside walks.
