A local business with family based traditions
Since we launched in the late 1980’s, we have modernised (of course!) but we have remained true to our core principles of offering owners and customers alike a personal and professional holiday letting service that we’d like to feel is second to none in the Cotswolds and surrounding regions. Whether you are working with us or staying in one of our cottages we believe that the personal touch makes a difference and begins the process of developing a relationship which we hope will last for many years.
Piece of mind
For any property owner we’re completely aware that it is important you have confidence about ‘who’ is staying in your cottage. Obviously we can’t run deep checks on all incoming guests, but by speaking and communicating with every customer who stays in a Manor Cottages’ property, we’re able to give you confidence that we have taken what steps possible to clarify who is travelling to your property.
Bookings and Income
Naturally, to make it work we need to get bookings for your cottage. Yes we have a big marketing plan and yes we work hard at ensuring we’re in all the right places promoting the brand of Manor Cottages, but it doesn’t stop there. We’re aware that in these tough economic times owners need to know that we’re doing more to get people to book. So because we’re regularly speaking to our owners (on the phone as well as via internal communications) we can react quickly and push your cottage if need be. Ultimately it is about getting bookings and by working together we ensure that owners get results.
Knowledge
To help us sell your cottage, we take time to get to know your cottage. This helps us to develop relevant knowledge which in turn gives us real confidence about what we’re telling our customers (soon to be your customers). Does the cottage have steep stairs? Is the garden enclosed? What is the nearest pub like? And so on... We get asked all sorts of questions and by building our understanding we give the customer confidence about what they are booking. As a local agency this kind of service is crucial and is one of the biggest differences between us and a national agency which use large call centres to process their bookings. As you would expect, we would also help you with tips and suggestions on how to maximise the potential from your investment.
