We understand that your (and every) property is special and we aim to respect this and treat you in just the same way, rather than as 'just another cottage' amongst hundreds or thousands of others, as can often be the case with so many of today's large holiday companies.

Since the day we started when we rented a simple stable conversion, our aim has remained the same: to deliver the very best service to owners and customers alike.

As a small locally based business (in Burford) we truly know the region like the back of our hand and this means we can give expert advice to you as an owner about the potential income but also the guests who want to know about every possible detail before and when they make a holiday booking.

Even if you are simply investigating your options and end up changing your mind, we are happy to discuss your property in great detail; we'll even come and visit the cottage with absolutely no obligation to use Manor Cottages! We understand that this can be a tough decision, whether to let, or not, or even to use us, or not! We believe that by being friendly, honest and open it makes the entire relationship straightforward and one of the reasons why we have many, many owners who have been with us since the very early days.

As you would expect our team is exceptionally knowledgeable; this level of understanding has been built up over years of working within the company and in the region. Our impartial and honest advice isn't compromised in any way as we don't own any holiday properties, as we understand to be the case with other agencies. We feel this to be hugely compromising and undermines our ability to do the job properly for you.
