Windrush House is one of our most popular holiday cottages. The house is a good size property and is perfectly situated off a very quiet square in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, which itself stands on the River Windrush. The house, once the old village school, is centrally located, with the river running past the front of the property. In our opinion, Windrush is a basic cottage that sits in a very desirable location making it good value for family get-togethers or a party of friends.
ACCOMMODATION:
Kitchen with dining table and chairs, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, electric cooker and gas hob and microwave.
Dining Room with dining table and chairs to comfortably seat six people.
Spacious Sitting Room with beams, log effect real flame fire and comfortable sofa and armchairs, TV & video.
Cloakroom with cubicle shower, WC and washbasin.
Upstairs:
Bedroom One with double bed and views towards the River Windrush.
Bedroom Two with double bed.
Bedroom Three with twin beds and views towards Windrush.
Bathroom with bath and overhead electric shower, WC and washbasin.
Off-street parking. Telephone for incoming calls only. Travel cot & high chair available.
No Pets. No smokers. Saturday changeover.
Bourton-on-the-Water is full of Cotswold charm with small footbridges and walkways criss-crossing the river throughout the village. It also boasts many interesting shops, cosy tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. There are also several local attractions to visit which include the Model Village, the Butterfly Maze, Birdland, the Motor Museum and the Cotswold Perfumery.
