Tithe Barn is the smallest of the Owlpen cottages - a cosy retreat with truly rustic charm. It is a character split-level studio apartment set in the last bay of Owlpen's listed Barn, converted above the coach house in about 1700. With massive oak cruck beams and principal trusses, which date it to the 1450s, it has been completely renovated to the same standard and quality of Owlpen's larger cottages of this historic manor estate. Day-to-day provisions are available in Uley which is only half a mile away where there is a Post Office/village shop, two pubs, a brewery and an arts centre.
ACCOMMODATION:
The light and spacious open plan studio has comfortable seating and a double bed.
Two steps lead up to the Kitchen/dining area and Bathroom beyond.
Outside there is a secluded terrace with views towards the Manor gardens and meadows.
