The Coach House, Swinbrook is a very spacious and attractive holiday cottage. Set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, The Coach House has been beautifully restored to provide an enchanting self catering holiday home that is just as ideal for four as it is for two. The owners have taken great care to retain many of the period features, while introduce touches of flair that we feel are very appealing. Internally the vast living space has cream washed walls, oak flooring and beams, plus a lovely open fire. Externally the village of Swinbrook is one of the Cotswolds' finest (and desireable) with many classic Cotswolds' houses and, best of all, a truly brilliant pub, The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford. This is excellent location and excellent cottage.

Swinbrook is a stunning little village particularly famous for its connections to the Mitford family (still today), Nancy Mitford and her famous family who are buried in the churchyard. Lord Resedale, their father, lived in Swinbrook House and built the Georgian vicarage where your cottage is! Swinbrook features a charming 16th century pub in a Mill beside the river Windrush. Burford's famous antique shops are a two mile walk away along the green valley fields. Oxford and Cheltenham are 20 minutes away with a host of Cotswolds locations and attractions all within a short distance.
