The cottage is an idyllic Seventeeth Century Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage (the old Granary!) which has been stunningly converted into a spacious one bedroom cottage, looking over a quiet village rural lane to fields stretching into the distance. Donnington is a small and delightful village located a very short distance from the popular market towns of Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. A quiet location it is particularly beautiful as it contains many, many period buildings constructed using the traditional Cotswold stone. Despite it's size there is a brewery, a fish farm, and dairy and organic egg producer - perfect for sampling really local and excellent produce, along with excellent gastro pubs in nearby villages.
The village is convenient for almost all Cotswolds attractions given its central location. Burford, Broadway Chipping Campden are all within a short drive with Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Bath all within a reasonable drive.
