The Gate House is a spacious character cottage situated in the stunning village of Hook Norton - famous for its award winning local brewery producing 'Hookie'. Surrounded by lawns and classic, picturesque gardens this charming property is ideal for families or a small group who like to get value for money. The garden is secure and there is a covered, well-heated private, swimming pool available all year. With a good selection of local pubs this is sure to please everyone!

ACCOMMODATION:
Front door to a spacious room Living Room, with comfortable furniture and open fire, TV, video, Dvd and open fire.
Dining Area with dining table and chairs.
Kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
First Floor:
Bedroom One with two single beds and washbasin.
Bedroom Two with full size bunk beds (these beds are as wide as normal single beds!).
Second Floor:
Master Bedroom, very spacious room with four poster-bed,.
Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside
To the rear of the property is a delightful garden that rolls down towards fields and a forest. Within the garden are a variety of fruit trees and wonderful flowers. There is also a large, indoor swimming pool which is for guests' and owners' use. BBQ available for guests use.
Heating & electricity included all year. Fuel for open fire at cost. Cots & high chair available. Payphone. Babysitting by arrangement. £40 extra pw for use of extra folding bed.
No pets. No Smokers. Saturday changeover preferred.
The village as you would expect has several good pubs, along with a very good general store and Post Office and serves as a charming base for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Broughton Castle and other Cotswolds delights. The owners have made a special arrangement with the local golf club (five minutes drive away) for subsidised pay and play rates. Riding is also available close by. There is a Pottery adjacent to the cottage, which sells a great variety of tableware, lamps and gifts made by a range of local craftspeople.
