Stonecrop Cottage is a very comfortable and spacious property furnished and equipped to a very high standard with accommodation suitable for up to five guests. The cottage is located in the centre of the beautiful village of Southrop, and is a short walk from 'The Swan', an excellent pub with a restaurant serving high quality food. There are many good walks directly from the cottage. Southrop is a picturesque village (see images) that sits on the River Leach, two miles from the market town of Lechlade where boats can be hired on the River Thames.
Short Breaks must be checked with Manor Cottages before being confirmed.
ACCOMMODATION:
Front door to hallway with Cloakroom.
Sitting Room, a spacious room with open fire and beams. DVD player . French windows lead into a good-sized garden with garden furniture and bbq.
Kitchen, with oak units, a breakfast bar, extra TV, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Dining Room, from kitchen, with dining table and chairs.
Upstairs:
Master Bedroom, large bedroom with en-suite dressing room, and bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom Two with twin beds.
Bedroom Three with single bed.
Bathroom Two with bath, shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
Oil central heating & electricity included all year. Off-street parking for 2 cars. Cot & high chair available.
No smokers. No pets. Saturday changeover. No Short Breaks in the Low Season or July or August please.
Burford and the Cotswold Wildlife Park are approximately five miles away. Other attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Kelmscott Manor (home of designer William Morris) and several National Trust properties including Buscot Park and Coleshill are all within easy driving distance.
