55 Richmond Place, Bath is a brilliant self catering city-house for those who want to enjoy the heart of Bath but from a vantage point that is set away from the very centre. This utterly gorgeous Georgian Villa is set in a 'village like' enclave within Bath, with stunning views across the valley and yet a very convenient location for enjoying the city's many attractions. There is even a local pub (reportedly with excellent food!) a short stroll away. Internally the house has undergone meticulous renovation and rejuvenation to provide a cool and attractive home retaining many period features, which together have created a thoroughly welcoming self catering home of a very high standard. Of particular appeal are the two Ensuite bathrooms. Its location also lends itself to touring the surrounding regions, including the ever-popular Cotswolds. From our perspective, this is a 'must-do' holiday cottage for visitors to Bath.

Bath, a designated World Heritage site, is renowned as one of Britain's most beautiful and historically significant cities. There are many attractions to consider including the wonderful architecture, such as the stunning Royal Crescent. The city is very compact and enjoys an excellent artisic pedigree including theatres, museums, cinemas, as well as a wide choice of award winning restaurants. Naturally there are many shopping options for the style hunter too! Given its location at the foot of the Cotswolds, there are many options for those looking slightly further afield, including day trips to Castle Combe, (England's prettiest village), Glastonbury Abbey, Longleat Safari Park and the legendary Stonehenge, to name but a few, make Bath the perfect base to explore the breathtaking Southwest countryside which surrounds.
