Pheasant Cottage is a fabulous cottage set in the gorgeous Cotswold village of Old Minster Lovell. Previously a single storey barn, the property has been converted to provide a high standard of self catering accommodation ideal for small families or friends who would enjoy a quaint, peaceful setting. Set in the grounds of the owner's home and with lovely views across open fields, Pheasant Cottage really is a delightful holiday retreat. For those who want to sit and relax the cottage is seconds from the quintessential village cricket pitch (a safe distance!) and the popular Swan pub. For the more active there are excellent walks directly from your door or alternatively the Old Minster Lovell Hall (English Heritage).

Oxford, Burford, Stow on the Wold and Woodstock with Blenheim Palace are all within easy driving distance. We say this cottage is ideal for visitors who wish to be rural but not isolated. The cottage has a good size garden with two large patio areas for eating out or just catching the sun! (Please note that while the property is 'on one level' we feel the cottage is suitable for those people who have basic mobility movement, owing to the presense of gravel and steps at the entrance).
