Orchard Cottage is situated at the edge of the absolutely stunning village of Norton St.Phillip, a really beautiful spot approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Bath. The cottage is set on a small working farm, with lovely views over open fields with the Cotswold, the Mendip Hills, and Salisbury Plain all within easy reach. Warm and well equipped, the accommodation is light and airy, and thoroughly welcoming. The ancient George Inn with its excellent food and real ale is a walk away, as are many spots for superb views. In our opinion, this property represents superb value for money particularly for one in such a stunning location.

The village of Norton Saint Philip is located approximately 7 miles south of the City of Bath in the West Country of England. Set in a scenery of rolling green Somerset hills, the village is home to about 1000 residents. This is a place with a history, a small battle was fought here during Monmouth's Rebellion in 1685, and 'The George Inn' is one of the oldest pubs in England, with an entry in the record books. The village has as its social focus: three Churches, Village Green ('Churchmead'), a school, Village Hall ('The Palairet'), two pubs ('The George Inn' and 'The Fleur de Lys').
