Oak Tree is a wonderful holiday cottage forming part of the spacious King John's Barn conversion. The property is situated in a delightfully rural location near to the villages of Shipton under Wychwood and Leafield. The barn takes its name from the 'King John's Oak' which was said to be a rallying point for huntsmen in the Wychwood Forest. The property, modernised and full of character, has wonderful views across open fields. This holiday cottage is likely to appeal to families looking to enjoy open space while having easy access to local amenities.
ACCOMMODATION:
Door into Utility Room with washer/dryer.
Sitting/Dining Room with comfortable sofas (sofa bed*).
Dining area with dining table and chairs.
Opening into Kitchen, fully fitted & equipped with cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave.
Outside there is garden furniture.
Upstairs:
Bedroom One with double bed.
Shower Room adjacent with walk-in shower, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom Two with twin beds that can be zipped together to make a large double with en-suite Bathroom with bath WC and washbasin.
Heating and electricity included all year. Parking for several cars. Payphone. *Sofa bed available for extra guests for £40 per person, per week. Garden furniture.

Each village (no more than 1.5 miles away) has a selection of good food pubs, including the Navy Oak (Leafield) and The Lamb (Shipton). Oak Tree has its own independent access and a garden terrace separated by a fence but with a gate so that there is access into the adjoining cottage - The Gallery if hired by a large group.The cottage has good access to local Cotswold locations including Burford, Bourton on the Water, Bibury and Chipping Norton. As well as many excellent local walks, attractions such as Cotswold Wildlife Park and Blenheim Palace at Woodstock are within a short drive. Oxford is approximately 20 miles away.
