Llangain Farmhouse is (like its neighbour Bullens Bank) one of the most spectacularly located holiday cottages we have ever seen. Situated on a hill overlooking the Wye Valley, you can literally stand awe struck at this utterly magical view. With over 250 years of history this is a holiday home that comes highly recommended with traditional features throughout, including beams, thick walls and three woodburning stoves. Lovingly restored using excellent local craftsmen and Herefordshire Oak this lovely property is a one off that in total can sleep upto 10 or 12 as there is a farmhouse and additional barn to accommodate an extra two people. In our opinion this is a wonderful converted farmhouse with a location that is unparalled. A cottage that hits 'contemporary' for six!

Important Note: the property is reached via a steep stone track which is not suitable for 'low-profile' cars.
Swimming and canoeing on the Wye are excellent and pony trekking is available from several centres near Hay and in the Llanthony Valley. Windsurfing, sailing and boating are available at Llangorse Lake. The Black Mountains Gliding Club is near Talgarth and there are microlights at Shobden Airfield. There are parascending courses on Hay Bluff too. Those who prefer not to drive up the steep track to the property can easily park off the road at the bottom though we have recently had quite a lot of work done on the track.
