Ivy House, Ludlow, is an absolute gem. Set on one of Ludlow's most prestigious streets and literally just seconds from the gourment restaurants (that this town is reknowned for) this utterly delightful townhouse is simply too good to miss. Internally the property has been recently redeveloped by its owners to create a wonderful mix of period charm with contemporary features creating an extremely desirable holiday house simply perfect for couples or small groups who expect and enjoy first rate accommodation. Externally, Ludlow is one of the country's most beautiful towns; described by Betjamen as the 'Most Perfect Town in England' and perched above the River Teme, dominated by historic castle, it is situated in the heart of Shropshire with the stunning local and Welsh countryside all very convenient and nearby with historic medieval buildings at every turn. An absolute must for foodies, we think it is stunning.

Surrounded by glorious countryside, Ludlow is a great place for discovering the rest of South Shropshire and the Welsh border towns. This unspoilt market town, dating back to the 12th Century, is the perfect location for visitors to enjoy their time exploring the surroundings of Ludlow Castle, the beautiful parish church and the woodland and riverside walks. The Ludlow Festival takes place in the last week of June and the first week in July, drawing vistors from across the county to enjoy Shakespearian plays set within the ancient castle itself. A food festival also takes place in September throughout the town, and Ludlow is the only town in the UK outside of London where there are two Michelin star restaurants offering visitors a gastronomic experience not to be forgotton.
