Gilboa Cottage is a cosy holiday cottage situated in the southern Cotswolds just outside the market towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury. The property, which is a converted barn enjoys a peaceful vista with lovely views across the countryside and farmland which surround the property. Although you are quite isolated, you're not completely alone as the owners live across the driveway! Internally, the cottage provides 'reverse living' with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and the living space upstairs which ensure you can enjoy the views across the countryside. The barn is presented in a traditional style, with a spacious living area upstairs. It is fully equipped and in our opinion offers excellent value for money for a cottage in such a desirable spot. The village is approximately two miles away with its local pub and super walks. We feel this cottage will suit those who would enjoy a quiet location, but would like to visit a more rolling region of the Cotswolds.

BROKENBOROUGH is a parish and village near to Malmesbury, in the county of Wiltshire. It is a very ancient village, having been a Roman settlement, and was called by the Saxons 'Caerderberge'. The location is on the border of Gloucestershire, and is crossed by the ancient Way called Akeman Street, near which fragments of Roman pavements have been found. There is local pub which is a freehouse and an attractive church, which is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. Slightly further afield are the Cotswold Hills and of particular interest is the nationally reknowned Westonbirt Arboretum. Beyond are the market towns of Tetbury, Cirencester, Bath, Oxford and Cheltenham.
