George's Stable is a wonderful holiday cottage converted from a stable into an extremely high standard of accommodation - re-using many features from the original building to create a relaxed ambiance. The property is situated about one mile from the villages of Tysoe and Oxhill and sits amongst 97 acres of grazing farmland. It has outstanding views across the Northern Cotswold countryside with the escarpment where the Battle of Edge Hill (1642) was fought in the distance. George's Stable is ideal for visitors who enjoy peace in a very rural setting.

Entrance to Kitchen, beautifully fitted with integrated units, table, electric cooker, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave. 
Spacious Sitting Room with original exposed stone walls and oak beams and panoramic views. DVD/video, digibox, comfortable 3 seater sofa, double sofabed and table.

Upstairs:
Large Double Bedroom, kingsize bed with space for child's folding bed or cot, TV, hairdryer.
Modern Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin and WC.

Central heating & electricity included all year. Ample parking.

Tysoe has a well stocked Post Office, plus excellent shop and butcher as well as a pub, doctor's surgery, a beautiful 11th Century church and restored windmill. There are numerous footpaths in the area with plenty of wildlife and bird watching. In the opposite direction, Oxhill village has an excellent pub. The cottage is ideally positioned on the south Warwickshire and north Oxfordshire borders: just 12 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon and 15 miles from Warwick, it is an excellent base to tour the northern elements of the Cotswolds, including Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold. Nearby is golf, riding, gliding and fishing.
