Gable Cottage is pure history! A beautiful and classic 'black and white' Tudor style property, Gable Cottage has origins dating back to the 16th Century and is tucked away down a quiet no through road in a northern Cotswold village. This Grade II listed cottage (formerly two, hence the two doors - see images) has been modernised to provide lovely self catering accommodation, whilst retaining its wealth of period features including beams and inglenook fireplaces. Gable is all about real luxury accommodation: perfect for families and friends plus a secluded and secure garden with lawns, flower beds, decking and barbecue area - perfect for outdoor entertaining. The property is also approximately 2 minutes from the local pub.
ACCOMMODATION:
Front door into entrance hall. Cloakroom with WC and washbasin.
Two comfortably furnished Sitting Rooms with beams, one with with a woodburner in an inglenook fireplace. TV, DVD and Freeview in the main sitting room.
Kitchen / Dining room with an extendable table to seat up to eight people. Electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. (Freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are in an outhouse close to the cottage).
Upstairs:
Bedroom One, a large room with double bed, En-suite Shower Room with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom Two, another large room with double bed and extra single folding bed for a child.
Bedroom Three, double room with twin beds.
Bedroom Four with single bed.
Family Bathroom with bath with detachable shower attachment, WC and washbasin.
Outside:
Enclosed, well tended 'cottage garden' with barbecue and entertaining area. Outhouse with fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer and a second outhouse for bicycles, logs etc. Private parking for two cars. Safe parking on the street just outside the cottage which is along a 'no through road'.
Central heating & electricity included all year. Telephone, incoming calls only. Cot & high chair available. Folding bed available for child (only) @ £40 per week extra.
No Pets. No smokers. Friday changeover. Wireless Broadband. No Short Breaks High Season except at short notice or by prior arrangement.

The village of Lower Quinton is situated approximately six miles south of Stratford upon Avon, the birthplace of Shakespear, and six miles north of the popular Cotswold town of Chipping Campden. There is a local pub with a restaurant, two small supermarkets, with Post Office, all of which are within easy walking distance from the cottage. Close by are Warwick Castle, Ragley Hall and Croughton Court along with other renowned Cotswold villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway and Moreton-in-Marsh - all within easy driving distance. The National Trust properties Hidcote Gardens and Snowshill Manor are also nearby.
