Forget Me Not Cottage is a spacious and superb holiday cottage which has recently undergone complete refurbishment, to provide a welcoming holiday retreat. Forming the substantial element within a building that once was the local school, the cottage is an excellent and characterful home set within the beautiful village of Lyneham. Internally the property offers a large living area, along with many character features including exposed stone walls and woodwork and a brilliant attention to detail. Locally there is a popular golf course (see * below). Outside, the cottage enjoys lovely views across the countryside and village and a secluded sitting area. A truly wonderful location of the Cotswolds!

Lyneham is well located for visiting all Cotswold attractions and villages including Burford, Stow on the Wold and Blenheim Palace at Woodstock. *Although the village does not have a pub, there is a friendly golf club approximately a 10 min walk away which welcomes non playing guests for food and drinks. Described as 'a well groomed course that challenges the best golfers.... it has a lovely clubhouse with breathtaking views of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.' We say it's well worth a visit! (01993 831 841 closes at dusk in Winter months.) The popular towns of Stratford upon Avon and Oxford are also within easy driving distance. (Kingham station approx. 2 miles.)
