Caradoc Court is a stunning self catering home, set in the East Wing of a magnificent Jacobean manor house. The property, which is approached via a private drive, has a history dating back to the 12th Century, is set in glorious Wye Valley countryside (actually overlooking the River Wye itself) and enjoys perhaps one of the finest country locations imaginable. The history tells us that the Manor has been the seat of the Viscounts Scudamore since the 17th Century and as such there is considerable character running through the property. The present owners have been involved in completing the final stages of its renovation and today the Manor and self catering accommodation are of a superb standard. Externally there are clearly acres of gardens and countryside to enjoy, but equally important is the excellent local inn at the end of the drive - oh what joy! Internally the property offers spacious accommodation, with large airy rooms mixing tradition with modernity in equal measure to creating a holiday home equally suited to family gatherings or small groups alike. Collectively this is an extremely attractive holiday home in a location that is second to none.

Please note it is possible, subject to approval, to add further numbers to the property through bed and breakfast in the main Court!

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance through to large Hallway
Kitchen, a large room with a lovely view across the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons beyond. Fully equipped with Aga and oven, electric hob, fridge and freezer, washing machine and dryer, microwave, dishwasher. There is also a dining table and 6 chairs.
Dining Room with table and 8 chairs
Living Room a lovely and spacious room with two large sofas, two armchairs, open fireplace, large flatscreen TV and DVD player.

First Floor
Bedroom One and enormous bedroom with King size double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and superb views, plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom Two (another!) large bedroom with King size double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, glorious views plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, handheld shower, WC and washbasin.

Second Floor
Bedroom Three with two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom Four with two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin
Kitchenette with basic facilities including a fridge, kettle, oven and hob.

Annex
There is a separate Annex which accessed approximately 10 steps from the main entrance to the property. This is completely self contained with bathroom and kitchen. It has a sofa bed which is suitable for two people and is chargeable at £50 per person, per week/per stay.

Outside
Vast gardens for use, table and chairs for the party size. The gardens are well manicured and will appeal to guests who want to sample a truly English Garden in a stunning environment. The lush and productive soils of this region make the plants and general fauna quite spectacular!

Caradoc Court in Sellack is situated in beautiful countryside in a quiet corner of England well away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is close to the Herefordshire Trail and conveniently sited for a whole host of country pursuits, including walking, horse riding, canoeing and cycling. Despite this tranquil setting access is easy as Caradoc sits some 3 miles from the westerly end of the M50. The attractive market town of Ross on Wye is approximately 3 miles away and has a number of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Naturally the stunning region of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley are on your doorstep.
