Located only 4 minutes walk away from the Shakespear Theatre it offers a Pre and after Theatre menu. All meals are cooked to order using only the finest ingredients. The Vintner

Reputed to have been William Shakespeare's off license The Vitner is an excellent timber framed building which hasn't been altered much since the late 1400's. It provides a handsome setting for the café bar, a restaurant and private dining area in the Banquet Room. Serving breakfast from 10am until 11.45am, and then a à la carte menu from 12pm all day until 10pm. The Vintner prides itself in offering a fine mixture of traditional English cooking and modern European cuisine. Weekly-changing Specials reflect the thoughtful use of fresh and local produce.

With trendy décor comprising of tiled floors and black furniture with well set tables that sparkle with glass, silver and spotless linen, Ask offers Ten starters including crostini and bruschetta, followed by a range of salads, pasta and al forno, oven baked pasta, some with chicken.The pizzas are stone baked in the oven, creating a crisp, authentic and delicious flavour, and they all come topped with mozzarella and tomato. Calzone introduce a touch of opulence with a folded pizza baked in the oven and topped with garlic butter and melted grana padano, whilst inside expect to find chicken or a vegetarian mix.
